this is officially my most walang kwenta entry ever! sinasabaw ako. because i'm super tired.. because i'm super happy.. and ultimately giddy over the start of my sophomore year in Ateneo.


last week, i was finally reunited with two of my beloved Bombshells, Catsky and Meecuh. we spent hours just catching up. it felt really good to have people to tell my problems to. if i left my feelings bottled up, i would have died. hirap talaga ng maraming dinidibdib.. mabuti na lang andyan kayo. of course, talking to them didn't solve my problem, but it sure felt good that i had people who understand me. I love you guys. :)

anyway, what i'm so excited to tell you about, my ever so loyal fans (ahem!), is ORSEM. i wasn't supposed to be part of the said event because i blew my chances of being a TNT because i didn't go to the 2nd interview. i became a LOG instead, which i think, is the hardest task to do.


DAY 1:
grabe! nangangapa kami.we didn't know what to do. good thing we had our heads Paton and Dianne there to tell us when the MOB was. we had to welcome the students in the cov courts, and usher them out as well, while shouting MOOOB!

although im not part of the Tours Committee, i had to look for the blocks of the late freshmen with my partner Jonats. we had trouble catching up because the stop is only 2 minutes, and we had to run after 7 blocks. kasi naman yung mga freshmen nagpa-late pa!

though our sked said we had at least 2 hours of idle time, we ended up having none. we distributed giveaways, food and drinks to each seat before lunch. after lunch, the dirty work began. we segregated the waste into 5 different containers, having to dig into trash if they weren't thrown in the proper place. we finished at 6:30 pm.
my back felt like it was going to break. whew.

DAY 2:
mas lax tong araw na to thank God! i was stationed near the gates, where we had to manage the influx of performers while keeping track of the freshmen going out of the covcourts to use the washroom. the line for the washroom stretched from the covcourts gate to the mobile! i was trying to keep my cool because some freshmen had the nerve to sneak out of the covcourts, so we had to run after them.

food segregation na naman after lunch, but this time it was easier, or maybe i became immune to the smell. hahaha.

DAY 3:
this day was the best. not because i had less work to do. actually, its the opposite of that. i had more work to do. imagine stacking sets of 20 monoblocks and dragging them to the side of the cov courts. i had to distribute giveaways, and syempre, there's the payong brigade. it rained so hard before lunch do we had to escort freshmen with umbrellas.

when ORSEM night began, i finally had time to relax. the show was better than last year's (and so was the OrSem film!) with Kwjan, Francis M and SpongeCola performing. i sneaked out of the Covcourts before it ended, para hindi na ko kasama sa basaan ng volunteers. i heard they had a great time. :)

this year's OrSem theme must be "happy tired". as for me, it was a back-breaking experience, but a really fulfilling one. Thanks Lord, for letting me be a part of it.


Meanwhile, before school starts, i've got things to do for ACP, another Ateneo event i'm looking forward to. i hope to be super duper over to the max (kanino yun? haha!) active in extra curricular activities this year, and of course, make it to the DL.

Watch out, world. This is my year. I'm gonna shake what my momma gave me. Wahahahahaha!
