...
there's an onslaught of debuts (is that the plural of debut?) this month, including mine, and i can't help but wonder... is it really that important? my friends' celebrations are far from simple. case in point: my grade school friend's debut has 300 guests, a cotillion (with matching gowns!), 4 hosts, and a candle and cake ceremony. another friend sponsored a mass before her party... and had three dance numbers. astig.
i sort of understand why they spend so much time and money on their debut, because they're both the last of three children. as with my debut, i made it casual and simple. i mean,
everybody turns eighteen. so if I turn eighteen, it's not that big a deal. :)anyway, this week, i'll be claiming my grades. i don't want to expect much, i'll just be disappointed. but based on experience, things turn out much better if you expect for the worse. i expected D's last sem, and got all B's.
hahaha.i'll enrol for one class only this summer, so I can do other things. given a choice, i won't take summer classes at all, for the simple reason that Ateneo has no aircon.
umiinit yung ulo ko pag mainit, nagiging halimaw ako. i have a thing with heat. i remember throwing a tantrum in our school corridor once just because it was hot. hahahahhaha.
hmm.. i've been blabbing too much. i'll be back sometime to blab some more. :)
