NSTP.

we had our last session of NSTP yesterday, so we made it extra special for the kids. we had a farewell party! actually, this isn't unusual because we didn't do anything but party since NSTP started, when we should have been teaching the kids. haha.

we made our first stop at Shoppersville at 11 am where we bought the kids' merienda, and ours too. we made sure we were prepared for the 2 1/2 hour jeepney ride. the next stop was an hour and a half later, at 7/11.
their Chocolate Slurpee tasted oddly like Cola, pero masarap pa rin.

we arrived at Samata, Las Pinas at around 3. had to wait around for the kids, so the party started at 3:30 pa. ok lang, it was fun. what i enjoyed the most was the dance rendered by the Simplicity Babes, their 8-year-old version of the Sexbomb Dancers. astig gumiling grabe. hahaha. ano nga ba yung sinayaw nila? Tsokolate (or is it Choco Latte?) chaka Choopeta (fave song namin ni Fidz).
*sings* mamamama mama eu quero.. mama eu quero.. hahaha ;P

on our trip home, while making kulitan inside the jeepney, Alicia just blurted out: I looove our block. Edith replied with, ako rin! so we just started singing our block song while driving through Coastal Road. cheesy.

it looks like a scene from a baduy coming-of-age movie (like..uhm.. Britney Spears' Crossroads?), but it was fun. the kids and blockmates made my day. guess what time we finished nstp? 7 pm. haha. but i don't care. i realized that i really am lucky to be part of Ah-Uno. how many people could say that they have this kind of bond with their block? ;)

i looove my block.
