i'm sitting at CPK with my family, waiting for our order. a girl walks in with her mother and father. she's wearing a Poveda baseball jersey.
i think,"O, that's a cute uniform." it says CARA on the sleeves. the girl turns her back. jersey number: 23. surname: SAN VICENTE (in big bold letters).
hmm.. Cara San Vicente. why does that name ring a bell? hmm..
then it hit me. OH. MY. GOD.
the people who just walked in are my ex boyfriend's family. i didn't recognize them at first. it took me a while to remember their faces, but im damn sure its them. surprisingly, he wasn't with them. i feel relieved.
i think, "But what if he's on his way?"
"Quick! Quick! make a beeline for the exit!"
i excused myself from the table, saying i wanted to go look at something.
as i headed for the door..
guess who walked in?

i know. its so predictable. just like a movie.
we looked at each other for a split second. just smiles. no hellos.

that's odd. these days, people from my past keep coming back to haunt me. ok lang sakin na bumalik sila.. wag lang sana yung mga yumao na. nyeeeee! =P
